Like most Trimax team members, the R&D designers and technicians are multi-skilled and have years of experience. All are capable tractor operators who appreciate the needs of end users in addition to possessing the design and engineering skills required to manufacture their products.

It all starts with an idea…

From there our team of designers and draughtsmen use state-of-the-art software to turn ideas into computer models. Tradesmen in our dedicated prototype workshop take these concepts and turn them into reality.

Prototypes are rigorously field tested, both by Trimax team members and selected end users. Even destructive testing is used if necessary to determine failure patterns and develop remedies. The new product is only ready to go into production when testing and fine-tuning is completed.

Production makes extensive use of computer-controlled machinery. A large plasma cutter, CNC bending machinery, robotic welders, CNC lathes and machining centres all produce the components and sub assemblies that make a modern mower deck. Parts are plated or painted and ideas finally become reality on the assembly line.

Manufacturing resource planning software keeps track of the entire process and quality checks ensure that Trimax customers get the productive, reliable and cost-effective machines they expect.
